Most of our properties were either, houses, townhouses, villas, duplexs or low rise units and were below $200,000, the average of all properties contracted was was $160,931. The cost to the purchasers less than $80 per week in most cases.

The average cost was about $50 per week and no money upfront, the purchasers used equity from there own homes and in a lot of cases we showed them how to pay there own homes off quicker and they were saving more than this on their own home mortgages, the properties costing the people nothing in some cases because of the savings on their own home mortgages.

The only reason the cost was so little was that we looked at what a property would cost everybody each week, few people realise how to structure an investment property, and even fewer know what properties work for an Investor. Incorrectly structured Investment properties could easily cost people double or even triple the amount every week if they are not the correct property and are incorrectly structured for Investment. We regularly came across people who had properties cheaper than ours costing way more every week.

You could have bought a cheaper property than ours in terms of purchase cost, but if it cost you an extra $100 per week, that is $5000 per year which is an extra $50,000 over ten years, so was it really cheaper than ours, I think not.

At $55 per week how many of you would like one of these now? The cheapest people can get properties these days would be about $150 per week unless you are a genius or get some of the deferred interest type loans.

The media focused on valuations and instructed their Valuer, which was Mr Iain Herriot from Herriot valuers to value the property low which is very easy when you know hoe, they were never interested in seeing other valuations as it ruined there story.

The media is the accuser and the Judge and the executioner, you have no ability to respond to their accusations. I was once interviewed for 2 hours and they showed 30 seconds of the interview, refused my invitation to a live debate, lied to get the interview. The other 99% of the interview was thrown away as it would have shown things differently to the way they wanted to portray the story. The movie stars will tell you, it is all crap and that is true.
